Introducing The Tiki Idols

Members of Boxcar Hex have been hard at work at their new project, The Tiki Idols.

The Tiki Idols hail from the mythical land known as Central New Jersey.  A project born from members of Shyneboxx and Boxcar Hex, the band presents five original songs on their debut EP, "Shyneboxx Family Presents: The Tiki Idols".  the album was produced by The Grip Weeds own Kurt Reil at their home studio, House of Vibes, in Highland Park, NJ.  The band's sound is a throwback echoing various legends such as The Ramones, Iggy and The Stooges, Bob Seger, and REM.
